Printing at the Library
To print a digital copy, sign up for a public computer. At the Main Library these are located on the 4th floor, Grand Reading Room. A JPL library card in good standing or a daily guest pass ($2) is required. Once the document, file or site is pulled up, follow the normal printing process by selecting File and Print. When all print jobs are sent to the printer, log off the public computer and proceed to the Print Release Station.
At the Print Release Station, swipe the library card or guest pass barcode to see a list of all jobs created. At the bottom of the screen an available account balance will be listed. If it is less than required to print, money can be added at a Value Cash Acceptor (VCA) or at the circulation desk. Credit cards are accepted at the circulation desk; cash only at the VCA. At the Main Library the circulation desk is located on the ground floor; the VCA is in an alcove off of the Grand Reading Room. Once the available account balance is enough, the desired print job can be selected and released. The cost will be deducted from the account.
